MyTaxFiling is a digital platform for UK Self Assessment, built for the people who have to file but were never taught how.
What we do
MyTaxFiling is an online and mobile service that helps UK taxpayers manage their income, track their expenses and prepare their Self Assessment tax return. You capture receipts on your phone as you earn and spend, review everything in one place on the web app, and work through a guided filing journey that explains each step in plain English. Alongside the product, we publish practical reference material, including up-to-date UK Tax Tables, a tax calculator and plain-English guides, so you can understand the numbers behind your return rather than just entering them.
Who we serve
We build primarily for sole traders, landlords, Construction Industry Scheme workers, freelancers and people earning side income from creator platforms or online sales. If you have more than one source of income, or you are filing for the first time and do not know where to start, the product is designed around you. We also support optional professional review and managed preparation for people who would like a human to check their work before anything is submitted.
Who builds it
MyTaxFiling is built and operated by Tax Filing Limited, an independent UK software company. We are not part of HM Revenue and Customs, and nothing on this site is personalised tax advice; you always review and approve your return before anything is filed. Our approach is simple: keep your records tidy through the year, make the numbers clear, and make filing feel routine rather than a January rescue mission.
